XPCHEM Achieves ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Re-Accreditation Across All Testing Divisions

XPCHEM is proud to announce the successful completion of its triennial re-accreditation audit under ISO/IEC 17025:2017 — the international standard for testing and calibration laboratory competence. The accreditation covers all three of our core testing divisions: Petroleum Products Testing, Chemical Analysis, and Environmental Testing.

The audit, conducted by an internationally recognised accreditation body, assessed XPCHEM's technical competence, management system integrity, and the validity of results across more than 200 test methods. Auditors reviewed laboratory facilities in Zurich, Abu Dhabi, and our regional offices, confirming full compliance with the latest revision of the standard.

ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation is the benchmark of laboratory excellence worldwide. It demonstrates that our testing processes, equipment calibration, staff competence, and quality management systems meet the highest international requirements. For our clients, this means every certificate of analysis we issue carries the assurance of globally recognised technical credibility.

The re-accreditation is valid for a further three years, with annual surveillance audits scheduled to ensure ongoing compliance. As part of the accreditation scope, XPCHEM's petroleum testing division covers ASTM, IP, and ISO methods for crude oil, refined products, lubricants, and bunker fuels. The chemical analysis division includes ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, and titration methods for industrial chemicals and specialty materials. The environmental testing division covers water, soil, and air quality analysis in accordance with EPA and EU regulatory frameworks.
