XPCHEM has rolled out a new client-facing LIMS portal enabling real-time sample tracking, digital certificate of analysis delivery, and historical test data analytics — reducing report turnaround time by 30% and improving supply chain transparency for clients.

XPCHEM has launched a new client-facing Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) portal, marking a significant step forward in the digitalisation of our laboratory services. The portal provides clients with real-time visibility into the status of their samples, digital delivery of certificates of analysis, and access to historical test data analytics — all through a secure, browser-based interface.

The LIMS portal integrates directly with XPCHEM's internal laboratory management system, providing live updates as samples progress through the testing workflow — from receipt and registration, through analysis and review, to final report approval and delivery. Clients can track multiple samples simultaneously, set up automated email notifications for specific workflow milestones, and download completed reports in PDF and structured data formats.

One of the most significant benefits of the portal is the reduction in report turnaround time. By eliminating manual report distribution processes and enabling direct digital delivery, XPCHEM has achieved a 30% reduction in average turnaround time for routine testing. For time-critical applications such as cargo release testing and process quality control, this improvement has a direct impact on operational efficiency and supply chain velocity.

The historical data analytics module allows clients to visualise trends in their test results over time, compare results across different sample sources or time periods, and export data for integration with their own quality management systems. Statistical process control (SPC) charts and specification compliance dashboards provide at-a-glance visibility into product quality performance.

"Our clients told us they wanted more transparency and faster access to their data," said Sarah Chen, XPCHEM's Chief Digital Officer. "The LIMS portal delivers exactly that. It's not just about speed — it's about giving our clients the information they need to make better decisions, faster."

The portal is available to all XPCHEM clients at no additional charge. Access is provided through a secure login with multi-factor authentication, and user permissions can be configured to control access to specific sample types, projects, or data sets. XPCHEM's IT security team has implemented end-to-end encryption and regular penetration testing to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of client data. Clients wishing to activate portal access should contact their XPCHEM account manager.
